Atousa Kamangar Rahmani

HR leader & researcher — AI in people management, recruitment and brand behaviour

Profile

I'm an HR manager and researcher based in London, and a PhD candidate at King's College London. I have led a team of fifty in London and, before that, a 200-person operation in Tehran as Senior Manager.

My work spans the full recruitment cycle, onboarding, employee relations, performance appraisal design, and learning and development.

My research focuses on innovative HRM strategies that use technology to improve recruitment, employee engagement and training — in particular, how artificial intelligence can be integrated into HR practice to build dynamic, inclusive workplaces. My MSc dissertation at Brunel University London examined the effect of AI in HRM on the recruitment of women entrepreneurs. Earlier work on brand betrayal and consumer behaviour appears in the Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management and in the book Betrayal to the Brand.
